CDDI provided surveying, engineering, construction monitoring, and material testing services at this residential site development project in Brandywine, Maryland. The project consists of site grading, placement of utilities lines and roadway for 76 luxury single family housing lots. These services have been performed under an open-end contract.

CDDI has provided the following construction engineering and material testing services listed below:

• Earthwork/Foundations – CDDI performed the necessary laboratory testing on materials proposed for use as fill, backfill and paving sub-grade in accordance with project specifications.

• Monitoring of placement of fill and backfill operations for house building pads and construction of Storm water management ponds.

• Provided the following concrete tests; slump, air content, unit weight, temperature, batch-to-replacement time, cast test cylinders.

• Paving – CDDI observed proof rolling of sub-grades and suggested corrective action of soft areas prior to placement of base course.

• Provided soil-cement mix design or other measures for roadway sub-grade improvement.

In addition, CDDI provided the following surveying and engineering services for this project:

• Established horizontal and vertical control

• Stakeout of the limits of disturbance

• Stakeout of erosion & sediment control

• Grading stakeout

• Storm water management including; ponds, dam and top/toe slope

• Stakeout of utilities as required

• Stakeout of curb & gutter, retaining walls and all walkways
