CDDI provided geotechnical engineering and surveying services on this project including:

Geotechnical Services:

Laboratory testing on materials proposed for use as fill, backfill and paving sub-grade in accordance with project specifications.
Provided a full time engineering technician for the duration of the project.
Performed in-place density tests by nuclear gauge.
Monitored the conditions of the bottom of excavations prior to installing the foundation and ensured that all unsuitable materials were removed and tested.
Placement of concrete monitored and mortar/grout samples tested for compressive strength per project specifications.

Geotechnical Services related to structural steel erection in the field:

Visual observation
ultrasonic and magnetic inspection of welded connections for size, length and quality.
Examined bolted connections in accordance with AISC requirements including tightness of high strength bolts at random.
Measured column plumb for conformance to AISC recommendations.
