CDDI provided civil
engineering, surveying, geotechnical engineering and material testing services during construction.
Geotechnical and Civil Engineering Services:
- Laboratory testing on materials
proposed for use as fill, backfill and paving
sub-grade in accordance with project
specifications.
- Observed proof rolling of
sub-grades and suggested corrective action of
soft areas prior to placement of any base
course.
- Monitored placement of fill and
backfill operations.
- Performed end-bearing check for
abjection structures.
- Verified foundation dimensions
and reinforced steel to comply with approved
drawings.
- Provided field concrete tests
including slump, air content, unit weight,
temperature, batch-to-replacement time, and cast
test cylinders.
