The Renaissance Square project involves demolition of an existing office building and redevelopment of the site into 44-unit artist’s housing, a YMCA facility and a structure parking on a 1.69 acre property. The property is located in Hyattsville, Maryland and zoned Mixed-Use-Infill (M-U-I) and Development District Overlay Zone (DDOZ). Housing Initiative Partnership (HIP) hired CDDI to perform civil engineering services, including preparation and approval of site plan, stormwater management plan, storm drain and paving plan, grading and sediment control plan, water and sewer plan, street lighting and treescape plan for the construction of proposed apartment building and associated road, parking lot and utilities. CDDI also performed all required Geotechnical services and construction survey stake out for the project.
