CDDI provided surveying services, civil engineering, geotechnical subsurface study, construction monitoring, and material testing services at this residential site development project in Brandywine, Maryland. The project consisted of site grading, placement of utilities lines and roadway for 50 luxury single housing lots. These services are performed under an open-end contract.

CDDI provided construction engineering and material testing services listed as below:

Performed field subsurface geotechnical study, provided design and construction recommendations for housing, SWM facility, and roadway.
Performed laboratory testing on materials proposed for use as fill, backfill and paving sub-grade in accordance with project specifications.
Monitoring of placement of fill and backfill operations and performed field concrete tests.
Observed proof rolling of sub-grades and suggested corrective action of soft areas prior to placement of base course.
Provide soil-cement mix design for sub-grade improvement of roadway

Stakeout of the limits of disturbance.
Stakeout of erosion & sediment control.
